델파이 서티피케이션은 두 레벨로 이루어져 있는데, 델파이 프로그래밍 개념들에 대한 일반적인 지식을 테스트하는 ‘Delphi Certified Developer exam’과, 델파이 프로그래밍에 대한 고급 지식, 소프트웨어 아키텍처, 델파이 XE의 소프트웨어 개발 기능들에 대해 테스트하는 ‘Delphi Certified Master Developer exam’으로 이루어져 있습니다. 이중 ‘Delphi Certified Developer’ 시험은 세계 어디서든 온라인으로 치를 수 있고, ‘Delphi Certified Master Developer’ 시험은 엠바카데로 파트너사의 감독 하에서만 치를 수 있습니다.

‘Delphi Certified Developer’ 시험과 ‘Delphi Certified Master Developer’ 시험의 수수료는 각각 49달러와 149달러입니다. 온라인 시험인 ‘Delphi Certified Developer’의 경우 온라인으로 시험 코드를 구입할 수 있습니다.

Delphi XE나 RAD Studio XE 정품을 사용중인 개발자는 ‘Delphi Certified Developer’ 시험 시험을 1회 무료로 치를 수 있습니다. 무료 시험은 2011년 7월 31일까지 신청해야 하며, 구입 혹은 무료로 받은 시험 코드의 유효 기간은 90일입니다.
